Anatolian Artisans’ cultural tour to Western Turkey offers travelers the opportunity to explore the world’s most diverse and fascinating region through its cuisine. From the cultural heritage and magnificent architecture of Istanbul to the gastronomy capital on the Aegean, Urla, this itinerary will be a trip of a lifetime. Guests will visit Thrace, known for its vineyards, and Edirne, once the capital of the Ottoman empire. Along the way stops at ancient Ephesus, Artemis Temple, both UNESCO World Heritage sites, and Meryem Ana House believed to be the final residence of the Virgin Mary, will reflect the country’s rich and varied past. Guides, accompanied by Artisans president Yildiz Yagci throughout every step of the trip, will take travelers through the layers of Turkey’s fascinating history.
